Scott expresses concern over Biden’s administration using aid packages as leverage against Israel, particularly in light of the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas. He emphasizes the urgency of safeguarding aid to prevent it from reaching Hamas and argues for conditions to ensure its proper use.
Despite his support for aid to Israel’s defense efforts, Scott believes that without stringent safeguards, such aid could compromise Israel’s position in negotiations with the Biden administration. He criticizes what he sees as a broken system in Washington, where compromise often fails to address critical issues.
