Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 will give away a signed poster to attendees

To celebrate the success of the latest Evangelion film with fans, Khara will be giving away a signed poster to those who attend a performance.

The posters star Asuka and Rei and were created by Atsushi Nishigori, animation director for the film. The poster will begin airing from May 15 in theaters that are open in Japan.

The art corresponding to Asuka had already come to light before, but the new version will include the signature of Yuko Miyamura, actress in charge of bringing the German pilot to life. Additionally, it will include a special message from Miyamura. Here you can take a look:

For now, the illustration for Rei Ayanami remains a mystery, but the signature of Megumi Hayashibara, the character’s seiyuu, is clearly visible in the lower corner. In total, one million copies will be given away.

Although the gift will be offered as of May 15, most cinemas in Japan are closed due to the third state of emergency declared on the occasion of Golden Week. The venues will be able to reopen after May 31, which is why Khara clarified that the promotion will also be available to those that are currently with suspended activities.
